History
Product of Callaway Competition, Leingarten, Germany
One of three produced in 1994-1995 to compete at highest level of sportscar racing in the mid-1990s.
Lightweight evolution of Chassis #94-001 which convincingly demonstrated the capability of race-prepared C-4 Corvette powered by Callaway Supernatural Motors.
Purchased by Agusta Racing along with Chassis #95-002 and raced from 1995-1997. Team was owned and operated, and cars driven, by Rocky Agusta of Agusta motorcycle and helicopter family, and Almo Cappelli.
Won GT-2 pole for 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. Finished third In GT2 and 11th overall.
Won the 1996 SCCA Pro World Challenge Series with Almo Cappelli driving. Won the first three races and achieved five podiums in ten races.
The only car converted to wide-body configuration and switched to 5.9 liter CompTech power for 1997 race season. Chassis #003 is the only Callaway with a widebody configuration and sequential transmission.
Chassis #95-003 also retains Callaway Engine #001,
Acquired by Almo Coppelli at end of 1997 season when the team disbanded,
Fully documented ownership history from new.
Acquired by Lance Miller in 2011 from Almo Coppelli and subsequently Kent and Melissa Hussey in 2018. Mechanical rebuild completed in 2020
