SKI Autosports has enjoyed a successful opening weekend with the team’s new Audi R8 LMS – taking a podium, and Masters’ class win today in GT America at VIRginia International Raceway.

Great day at VIRginia International Raceway. Third place overall and a win in the Masters’ class in GT America competition with Johnny O’Connell at the wheel of our Audi R8 LMS.

Not the day we were hoping for – unfortunately, we were run into again on the opening lap and had to pit for a new tire. Some important data was collected in preparation for tomorrow’s second race.

SKI Autosports left Circuit of the Americas after a bittersweet weekend which included the highest of highs – setting the pole and crossing the line first; to the lowest of lows – being spun off the circuit in race one and losing the win to a penalty in race two.
