SKi Autosport earns first-ever GT America sweep at Sonoma with Gidley

It was a weekend of accolades for SKI Autosports at Sebring Raceway for the SRO GT America powered by AWS, with Johnny O’Connell taking two podium finishes to continue a perfect six-for-six run to start the season.

Five races, five podiums and a hard charger award as well today for Johnny O’Connell for the SKI Autosports team. We’re fired up to do this again on Sunday at Sebring.

Sebring Raceway Hall of Fame driver Johnny O’Connell is the winningest driver at the famed circuit with eight wins at the Twelve Hours of Sebring. However, this weekend, he will be going for his first GT America powered by AWS win at the famed track.

In a pair of classic Long Beach battles, O’Connell and SKI Autosports posted podium finishes, coming in second and third, respectively, on Saturday and Sunday at the SRO GT America powered by AWS races.
