After a successful 2024 GT America Powered by AWS season debut at Sonoma Raceway, SKI Autosport and Johnny O’Connell are heading into the Long Beach Grand Prix event with the championship points lead.

Great way to finish the weekend. We’ve had wins taken away before – this time we had one come back to the other way. Johnny O’Connell and SKI Autosports lead the GT America championship after the opening weekend of the 2024.

Posting a P2 finish in Saturday’s race, SKI Autosport stepped up to P1 in today’s second race as Johnny O’Connell celebrated the start of his 40th season of professional motorsport and leaving Sonoma Raceway with the GT America championship lead.
