O’Connell and SKI Autosports take championship lead with VIR victory

Preparations are under at Sonoma Raceway as we prepare for the opening round of the 2024 GT America championship. Track repairs have delayed proceedings but we can’t wait to get started with Johnny O’Connell aboard our Audi R8 LMS GT3.

As the GT America series gets ready to launch its 2024 season at Sonoma Raceway this week, sports car racing icon, Johnny O’Connell will celebrate 40 years of professional racing when he hits the track for SKI Autosports for the first official practice session on Friday, April 5th.

2023 GT America Masters Championship team SKI Autosports turned its first testing laps with their newly acquired Audi R8 LMS EVO II at Sebring International Raceway this week at Sebring.

After a highly successful limited season in 2023, culminating in winning the SRO GT America Masters Class Championship, SKI Autosports is looking forward to even greater success in 2024.
